Abubakar Kachallah

Introducing an esteemed academic and community leader, Abubakar Kachallah. Born on July 2, 1990, in Kachallari, Yusufari Local Government Area of Yobe State. Mr. Abubakar Kachallah popularly known as #K.Zaid, stands out as a passionate and influential youth leader. Over the past five years, he has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to promoting education, enhancing youth participation, and advancing public service. His dedication and contributions in these areas have significantly impacted the community and continue to inspire many.

Abubakar began his educational journey at Umar Sulaiman College of Education Staff Primary School, Gashu’a, and continued at JICON Secondary School, Gashu’a. His passion for botanical sciences led him to the University of Maiduguri, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Botany. He further specialized in Mycology and Fungal Biotechnology, obtaining a Master of Science from the University of Ibadan. Currently, he is pursuing a second master’s degree in Transitional Security at the University of Maiduguri.

In addition to his academic achievements, Abubakar holds a certificate in Airline and Ticket Management from PAR Avian Institute of Aviation. He completed his one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) at Yejide Girls Grammar School, Ibadan, and has volunteered as a teacher in numerous public primary and secondary schools in Yobe State. Presently, he serves as a lecturer in the Department of Biological Sciences at Yobe State University, Damaturu.

Abubakar’s professional experience is diverse and impactful. He has served as Outreach Supervisor for the DLI 11.5 World Bank Project at Yobe Geographic Information Service, where he facilitated a significant grant of 2 billion Naira for the state. Additionally, he has held the position of Special Assistant on Special Duties in the Office of the Executive Secretary of the Yobe State Primary Healthcare Board. Currently, he is the Local Emergency Management Coordinator for Yusufari Local Government under the Yobe State Emergency Management Agency.

Abubakar is also the Head of Office for Let’s Kick Out Foundation in Yobe State, where he contributes to humanitarian efforts and community development. As an academic, he has authored several research papers, enriching the field of biological sciences.

Balancing his professional achievements with a fulfilling personal life, Abubakar Kachallah is happily married with two children. His dedication to both his career and family exemplifies a life committed to service and excellence.
