Ambassador Edwards Awak, Sarki, mni was born on 1″ September, 1959 at Awak in Kaltungo LGA of Gombe State. He had his early Education at soblong Primary School, Awak. From where he Proceeded to Government Secondary School Gashua, Yobe State. He thereafter, attended Bauchi College of Arts and Science in Bauchi where he proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in Kaduna State, where he graduated with a Degree, B s (Hon) Sociology. Ambassador Sarki, did his National Youth Service Corp at Community Secondary School Amucha in Imo State.
He started his early career as an administrative officer with Bauchi state government from where he joined the Nigerian Foreign Service, where he build a career and rose to the rank of an Ambassador. Ambassador Sark attended the Foreign Service Academy, Lagos where he received Training in Diplomacy and State craft. Subsequently, he served in different capacities in Nigerian Missions Abroad, which includes; Nigeria High Commission London UK, Embassy of Nigeria Niamey Niger Republic, Embassy of Nigeria in Ankara, Turkey and Nigeria High Commission, Pretoria South Africa.
Ambassador Sarki attended several courses both locally and internationally, including the prestigious National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) Kuru Jos, Plateau State. He retired from active service in 2019 and is currently the MD/CEO, Manifest Security Solutions Ltd with Headquarters in Abuja. Ambassador Sark is married with (4) Children; His Hobbies include Reading, Farming and Traveling.
