The leadership of the Osun Baptist Conference led by the President, Rev. Dr. Paul Kolawole, has paid a familiarization visit to the Bursar of the University, Mr. Samson Ayansina, a deacon in the church, and the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Eyitope Ogunbodede.  The visit, which was meant to welcome Mr. Ayansina to the Osun Conference from the sister Conference at Oyo, was hosted by the Vice-Chancellor in honour of the Bursar, whom he described as very competent to the admiration of the Conference’s leaders.

While welcoming Rev. Dr. Kolawole and his entourage, Professor Ogunbodede, revealed his admiration of the orderliness and general organization of the Baptist Mission, particularly its outstanding record-keeping practice, dating back to several scores of past years.

He further described Mr. Ayansina as being on a divine mission to the University; and that other principal officers of the University have enjoyed a harmonious working relationship with him.

In his comment, the Osun Baptist Conference President, Rev. Dr. Kolawole, appreciated the Vice-Chancellor for the very kind testimonies about the Baptist Mission Worldwide, adding that he is pleased to also hear commendable testimonies about Mr. Ayansina.

He said the Conference is also happy that other Baptist members in the employ of the University, some of whom accompanied him on the visit, equally earned the commendation of the Vice-Chancellor, imploring them to keep it up.

Dr. Kolawole thereafter led other clerics to pray for God’s guidance, wisdom and grace for successful tenures for the Bursar and the Vice-Chancellor.
