Council Decision on the Audio Conversation Between Professor Richard Akindele and Ms. Monica Osagie

Around the 7th of April, 2018 or thereabout, there was an audio conversation between a man and a lady which was sensationally trending on social media because of its explicit sexual tone.  After thorough investigation, it was discovered that the said audio conversation was between a lecturer and a student of our University (OAU) who were later identified to be Professor Richard Akindele and Ms Monica Osagie.

Application must be submitted on TETFund Nomination form. Conferences must be from approved organizers which include institutions, professional bodies and recognized bodies with web presence. Applicants must be confirmed staff. Attach your accepted abstract (Academics). Conference cost is limited to registration cost, flight fare and duty tour allowance/estacode. 


36th Marquis Memorial Lecture

The title of this year’s lecture is, “Pharmacy Practice Reformation in Nigeria: The Significance of the New Pharmacy Law”. It will be delivered by Pharm. Elijah Mohammed, the Registrar, Pharmacists Council of Nigeria. It will hold on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Marquis Lecture Theatre, Faculty of Pharmacy at 4:00pm


OAU Scientists Selected to attend Lindau Six Early Career scientists meeting

Six early career African scientists nominated by the African Academy of Sciences have been selected to attend the prestigious Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting slated for June this year. The 68th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting, which is this year dedicated to Physiology and Medicine, will run from 24-29 June at Lake Constance in Germany.
