Professor Oluyinka Osayame Ighodaro, now Omorogbe, Senior Advocate of Nigeria, graduated from University of Ife in 1978. A leading specialist in energy law, Professor Omorogbe held Research Professorship at the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies; served as Attorney General of Edo state, from 2017 to 2020; Dean of the Faculty of Law, University of Ibadan (2005 to 2009); Secretary to the Corporation and Legal Adviser to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (2009 to 2011), among others.
Professor Abiola Sanni, double OAU Alumnus (Class of 1989, 1993), elevated Senior Advocate of Nigeria in 2021.
Abiola Sanni, Senior Advocate of Nigeria, earned his Bachelors and Masters of Law from Obafemi Awolowo University in 1989 and 1993, respectively. He also earned a PhD in Law from University of Lagos in 2010. He started his teaching career in Obafemi Awolowo University as a Junior Trainee Fellow in 1991 where he rose through the ranks before transferring his service to University of Lagos in 1999. He is currently a Professor of Commercial Law in the University of Lagos (UNILAG), and simultaneously occupy the Professorial Chair endowed by Lagos State Government for the Advancement of Taxation and Fiscal Matters in 2016. A past recipient of the highly competitive and prestigious Fulbright Fellowship to attend the International Tax Programme of Beasley School of Law at Temple University in Philadelphia in 2003, Professor Sanni is an accomplished author of several books and Editor-in-Chief of the Nigerian Revenue Law Reports (NRLR) and African Tax Law Reports (ATLR), respectively. He is also a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and International Bar Association (IBA), among others distinguished professor bodies within and outside Nigeria.
Victor Ugwuezumba OPARA, Senior Advocate of Nigeria, graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University in 1988. A prolific writer and author of several publications, he is currently the Head of Chambers at Victor Opara Chambers- litigation oriented Law Chambers. From 2017 to date, he served as Pioneer Secretary/Member, Obafemi Awolowo University Alumni Association Board of Trustees for the Class of 1988.
Oluwasina Ogungbade, OAU Alumnus (Class of 1998), currently Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice Ogun State, elevated Senior Advocate of Nigeria in 2021.
