Professor Abiodun Oladele

Prof. Abiodun Oladele Ayoka is a professor of Neurophysiology, General Basic and Cell Physiology.
He joined Obafemi Awolowo University in 1997 and he rose to the position of professor on the 1st of October, 2014, though he was pronounced on 26th June, 2021.
He was appointed as the Head of Department, Physiological Sciences from 2009 – 2013 and also from 2021 to date.
He was elected Vice-Dean of Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences between 2011 – 2013, and the Chairman, Multidisciplinary laboratory (MDLs) in 2009- 2013.
A former Acting Chairperson of ASUU, OAU branch, he has also represented the OAU branch of OAU at NLC activities (2022 to date).
He is married with children, and is an ordained Elder of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC). He is a patron, adviser and mentor to many clubs and Associations.
He was elected to represent Senate at OAU Council.
