Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, proudly announces its 398th Inaugural Lecture, a distinguished tradition of intellectual engagement and scholarly excellence.
The lecture, titled: “A Threefold Cord That Is Not Quickly Broken: The Kinship of the Face, the Teeth and Quality of Life,” will be delivered by the erudite Professor Kikelomo Adebanke Kolawole, a leading scholar in the field of Orthodontics. Her lecture promises a thought-provoking exploration of the intricate interplay between facial structure, dental health, and overall well-being — a topic at the heart of medical and social discourse today.
This momentous event will be held on Tuesday, 27th May, 2025 at the prestigious Oduduwa Hall of the University by 5:00 p.m., under the distinguished chairmanship of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adebayo Simeon Bamire, an embodiment of visionary leadership and academic distinction.
