Obafemi Awolowo University will host FutureMinds 2.0, the 2026 edition of its AI and Robotics Bootcamp for secondary school students, from 7–11 September 2026 at the ACE Design Studio, OAU, Ile-Ife.

Organised by the TETFund Centre of Excellence in Digital Literacy and Emerging Technologies in collaboration with the AI & Robotics Lab, FutureMinds introduces young people to emerging technologies through intensive, hands-on learning.

Under the theme “Powered On,” participants will work on real technology problems, build smart robots, explore self-driving vehicle technologies, develop AI models, and take part in drone piloting and competition activities.

The programme builds on the inaugural FutureMinds bootcamp held in 2025 and continues OAU’s effort to give secondary school students early exposure to the technologies and problem-solving skills shaping the future.
