The attention of the University is hereby drawn to the expiration of the tenure of the twelve (12) representatives of Congregation in the Senate and two (2) Congregation representatives in the Council

SENATE

The representatives whose tenure would lapse on 10^th May, 2023 are as follows:

COUNCIL

The representatives, whose tenure would lapse are:

1. Prof. BABATIMEHIN Oye               –           Department of Geography
2. Dr. AYINDE Julius Olatunde            –           Dept. of Agric. Extension & Rural. Soc.

Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Law 1970 Regulations No 1 Statue 12 paragraph 1(g) and Ordinance No. 1 Statue 10, paragraph 1(e) govern the conduct of elections to Senate and Council.

Consequently, nominations are hereby invited for the election of Congregation representatives into Senate and Council.  Such nominations must be made on prescribed nomination form obtained at the office of the Director, Directorate of Corporate Services Floor 2, Room 205, Old Secretariat Building as from Thursday 13^th April, 2023.

The completed nomination form must be submitted not later than 3.00 p.m. on Friday, 28^th April, 2023.

The election will be held on Thursday, 11^th May, 2023.

The information on the arrangements for the balloting will be furnished later.
