On 20^th October, 2023, the University Administration hosted the National University Commission Resource Verification Group. The Group was on inspection of the University’s available resources for the academic programmes in the Faculties of Education and Basic Medical Sciences. The undergraduate programmes involved are Language and Communication Arts, Early Childhood and Primary Education and Human Nutrition and Dietetics. Speaking on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Professor Olubola Babalola, assured the Accreditation Panel of the readiness of the University Administration to appropriate available human and material resources to ensure seamless running of the programmes. From October to December 2023, various visitation groups of the National Universities Commission have been hosted by the University for assessment of the available human and material resources for various academic programmes of the University. It is hoped that the visitations would be used as a catalyst to strengthen the capacity of the University for sustainable high education service to our students.
