a. The security of the entire University estate is a matter of great concern to the University Administration. We would like to inform the university community that serious measures are being taken on a daily basis to ensure the safety of lives and property in the University.

b. The University has increased its surveillance tentacles to the entire community and extended similar security measures to some private hostels accommodating our students outside the campus. In addition, the University Administration has installed 59 CCTV cameras in strategic locations in the University. Recently, the University partnered with a private organization for installation of 1,000 CCTV cameras to virtually all strategic areas on campus including hostels and academic areas.
