University Advancement Office Sets Stage for ISE 3.0

The University Advancement Office is proudly announcing ISE 3.0, an initiative engineered to reimagine student experience and chart a new paradigm for lifelong success.

Scheduled for November 19 – 20, 2025, at the reputable African Centre of Excellence on OAU campus, ISE 3.0 emerges as the flagship collaboration between the University Advancement Office and the Division of Student Affairs. This two-day summit transcends the conventional boundaries of career fairs and student forums, positioning itself as a catalytic platform where purpose meets preparation, and potential meets power.

At the heart of ISE 3.0 is a compelling question: What does it mean to prepare today’s students not just for jobs, but for enduring impact? The answer unfolds through an extraordinary lineup of thought leaders, industry pioneers, and institutional architects committed to building sustainable career ecosystems anchored in mentorship, innovation, and robust alumni engagement.

The summit will be graced by Mr. Razaq Ahmed, the visionary founder of Cowrywise and President of the Chartered Financial Analyst Society of Nigeria, whose journey from campus curiosity to fintech revolution embodies the very spirit ISE 3.0 seeks to ignite. Complementing his insights will be Dr. Seun Fakorede, a former Commissioner for Youth & Sports in Oyo State and a dynamic voice in youth policy and civic engagement, who will speak to the imperative of leadership beyond the ballot.

Attendees will also gain access to high-caliber expert Panels featuring luminaries such as Mrs. Toyin Lasaki, Head of Human Resources at Knight Frank West Africa, and Barr. Isaac Ibikunle, a Senior Associate at Olaniwun Ajayi LP, legal and human capital leaders who will dissect the skills, mindsets, and networks that define 21st-century professional excellence.

But ISE 3.0 is more than a conference; it is a covenant. A covenant between Obafemi Awolowo University and its extended community to co-create a future where graduates do not merely enter the workforce but lead it ethically and sustainably. With a deliberate emphasis on long-term career resilience, the summit leverages OAU’s growing global alumni network and institutional infrastructure to ensure that student success does not end at convocation, it thrives long after.

“This is not just for students,” affirmed Dr. Adeduntan Segun-Olasanmi, the Acting Executive Director of the University Advancement Office. “It is for mentors, employers, policymakers, parents, and patriots; anyone invested in nurturing the next generation of African change-makers.”
